Our commitment
Quality and certifications
Quality, food safety and reliability are at the heart of how we work, in Italy as across the Almi Group.
Quality and food safety policy
Quality is at the top of our corporate objectives. For Almi Italia, quality means first and foremost building a satisfying, long-lasting relationship with its customers, based on the continuous improvement of its products, its service and its organisation. To achieve these results, the company works to translate customer requirements into organisational methods through its Quality Management System. In this way Almi Italia constantly strives to optimise:
- reliability of delivery times;
- competence and professionalism in product processing;
- flexibility towards market needs;
- wholesomeness and safety of food;
- containment of risks relating both to food products and to business activities, while maximising development opportunities.
We believe that achieving these objectives requires a system of values known and consciously shared by every member of the organisation, guiding each person's activities towards the fullest satisfaction of the customer and of the other relevant stakeholders, taking into account the context in which the company operates.
Almi Italia considers the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard the model best suited to its organisation for putting quality principles into practice and achieving the resulting operational improvement through adequate control of technical and organisational activities. In compliance with legal requirements, production is subject to the HACCP self-monitoring system in accordance with European regulations, with specific analyses entrusted to qualified partners and institutes; a food safety management system compliant with ISO 22000:2018 has also been implemented and certified. To ensure that the quality policy and its objectives are understood and applied, we commit ourselves through example, awareness-raising, involvement, and the planning of staff training and education.
